This year marks the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Gothenburg Natural History Museum in the new building in Slottsskogen. We want to celebrate this with you during the year. You’re welcome to experience new exhibitions, jubilee activities and stories from the museum and the world of natural history. The museum is celebrating with a jubilee book, a new flower meadow, and the jubilee exhibition With an Eye on Nature – Fossils, Feathers, and Photographs. The exhibition highlights the significance of natural history from a historical perspective to modern-day society. Join us on a journey that began 4.5 billion years ago, and experience an unforgettable meeting with animals and nature from all around the world!
