Om aktiviteten (in English below)
Förgyll din VALborg med ett besök i Göteborgs största kändis. Nu tar vi fram val-stegarna och vevar upp gapet på den mytomspunna Malmska valen. Välkommen att klättra in.
Med tanke på valens höga ålder, öppnar vi den bara vid särskilda tillfällen såsom på Valborgsmässoafton, under Västerhavsveckan och vid riksdagsval.

Kostnad: Att gå in i valen är gratis, men det kostar att gå in på museet. Fri entré för barn och unga under 20 år. Läs mer om entréavgifter här >>
Tillgänglighet: Observera att det kan vara lång kö till valen. Kön går delvis via trappor, men besökare med rullstol eller barnvagn kan prata med värdarna som då visar en annan väg. Barn bör ha vuxet sällskap med sig. Besökare med funktionsvariation som gör det svårt att köa har möjlighet att, tillsammans med ledsagare, gå före i kön. Prata med värdarna och visa ett intyg från till exempel habiliteringen.

W(h)al(e)purgis: Climb in to the Malm whale
Brighten up your Walpurgis night (VALborg in Swedish, val=whale) with a visit inside Gothenburg's biggest celebrity. We’ll bring out the whale ladders and wind up the gap on the mythical Malm whale. Welcome to climb in.
Given the age of the whale, we only open it on special occasions, such as on Walpurgis, during the West Coast Sea Week, on election day, and when Santa Claus comes to the museum.
Practical information
Cost: Entering the whales is free, but there is a charge to enter the museum. Free admission for everyone under 20 years of age. Read more about entrance fees here >>
Acessibility: Please note that there may be a long queue to the whale. The queue goes partly via stairs, but visitors with wheelchairs or prams can talk to the museum hosts, who can then show another way. Children should have grown-up company with them. Visitors with disabilities that make queuing difficult have the opportunity, together with a companion, to go to the front of the queue. Talk to the hosts and show a certificate from, for example, relevant health-care institution.
