Tuesday April 28 at 3 – 4 o’clock pm (Swedish time)

In English.

The disappearance of insects is one of the greatest ecological crises of our time – and few people have done more to draw attention to this than Dave Goulson, professor of biology at the University of Sussex and one of the world's leading experts on pollinators. He is internationally known for his books about bumblebees and insects, translated into several languages, and has inspired millions of people to create flower-rich environments to save pollinators. In this digital conversation, he meets Helen Ekvall from the Gothenburg Botanical Garden, also coordinator for the EU NSR EXPBIO and a PhD student at the University of Gothenburg. Helen is an experienced educator and nature-based learning facilitator. She has also worked extensively with outreach facilitating schools to create and develop native wildflower areas that support pollinators and enrich learning environments. Together they provide hope, knowledge and concrete advice on how we can stop insect death – from gardens to global strategies. So prepare your tea and crumpets, and join us for a digital Afternoon Tea!
