Exhibitions

You will find different exhibitions at the museum – our various permanent exhibitions which provide a clear overview of the history of life on earth and display a wide range of earth’s fauna from all over the world, as well as our temporary exhibitions which change several times a year.

Meet our fishes, amphibians, reptiles, echinoderms and many more species – including humans – once again. The exhibitions have been closed for two years and re-opened In December 2022. New and improved!

In this section of the museum’s permanent exhibitions we tell you the story of the history of Earth and the evolutionary history of life on Earth beginning 3.8 billion years ago.

The museum’s Birds Galleries have birds from all over the world. There is a lot to discover here - everything from the world’s largest bird, the ostrich, down to the smallest one, the humming bird.

The Whale hall has finally re-opened after being carefully renovated for a year. Welcome to see an exhibition about the evolution of whales.
